Is Vodafone Broadband any good?

I guess for most customers in the UK, we tend to want to know just one or two things before we switch broadband providers.’How much is it?’ and ‘Does it work?’.

Most companies do a very good job of telling you about the former but not so good a job about the latter. If you were to tell your friends or family that you’ve switched broadband providers, they’ll often just ask “Are they any good?”

Broadband quality tends to be subjective. What’s good for one person might not work for another. In broadband, it could be said that what works well for one person, might not work the same way for their neighbour, ten doors down.

With Vodafone broadband, we can safely say that they have a product to suit everyone. While we won’t list prices here (as they can often change), Vodafone have both pocket friendly products in the lower download range of speeds, all the way up to the more costly packages in the higher ranges.

Vodafone uses a mixture of Openreach and CityFibre Full Fibre products to reach as many customers as possible.

Some of the best things about Vodafone’s broadband packages

  • Their Pro II packages offer automatic 4G back up for if your broadband connection fails.
  • All packages come with a free router.
  • They are part of Ofcom’s Automatic Compensation Scheme although some restrictions apply.
  • They will pay up to £100 towards your leaving fees with your current supplier.
  • You will be given a guaranteed switching date. If they are late for any reason, you will be compensated.
  • Switch to Vodafone and you won’t even need to talk to your current provider. They’ll do out all for you
